How to Use Your Probe
- Connect the battery clips directly to the vehicle's battery (Red to Positive, Black to Negative).
- Unroll the 20ft cable to reach your diagnostic area. The TFT screen will illuminate, indicating the tool is active.
- To check polarity or voltage, simply touch the probe tip to the circuit. The screen will display live voltage, and the LED will glow Red (Positive) or Green (Negative).
- To test a component (e.g., a fan), touch the tip to the positive terminal and rock the power switch forward to apply 12V/24V power. Rock backward to apply ground.
- If testing for a short circuit, follow the wire harness; the internal circuit breaker will trip and auto-reset if an overload occurs, protecting the system while you trace the fault.
